About

About

Anicca Pictures is a production company with people from every background of life with an open eye for minority talents, both in front and behind the camera. We focus on producing high-quality fiction, documentary, and shorts. We aim to tell the stories no one else tells and develop the talents that get ignored or don't get the proper attention, space, and home they deserve. We aim to establish a long-standing company, creating a safe space for individuals to express themselves honestly and thoroughly. Our overall goal and vision are to strengthen diversity and the representation of talented minorities behind and in front of the camera. We want to contribute to diversifying films, series, and documentaries for the big screen, streaming platforms and tv.

Our company started small, producing the Amanda-winning short film "No man is an island ". We are now in post-production with our first feature film with the working title "No man's land ", directed by Ali Parandian. To reach our goals on a broader spectrum, we have established PAN Talents, a talent development program for youth aged 18-26, in collaboration with Filmkunstskolen i Lofoten and Nordic Black Xpress. This is a pilot project that, by 2026, will be a one-year film school. We are currently planning, organising and establishing PAN Think - an advising board for minorities and diversity aiming at national and regional institutions in Norway, collaborating with our Scandinavian and European peers. PAN Base - a database and portal for film workers in Scandinavia and Europe. And a casting agency with a particular focus on minorities.
